About Us – The Faces Behind Beyond Bargains PVF

Hello, everyone! We’re Laura, Bill, and Hunter Copeland, and along with our amazing partners and best friends, Ted, Krista, and Colton Gerst, we’re excited to welcome you to Beyond Bargains PVF, LLC!

I’m Laura, a high school teacher for over 23 years, and my husband, Bill, has built a successful land-clearing business. Our love for community goes beyond our careers—we both joined the Pittsburg Volunteer Fire Department as firefighters in 2021, where Bill now proudly serves as Chief, and we also serve as first responders with Hickory County Fire Rescue. We strongly believe in the motto: "Neighbors helping neighbors."

Our retail journey began in 2021 with Pomme View Finds, where we first explored our love for connecting with the community through unique and affordable finds. In April 2024, after the passing of my father, we were inspired to take a leap and acquire Beyond Bargains PVF—a dream we had long hoped to bring to life.

We are incredibly grateful to have Ted, Krista, and Colton Gerst as partners in this adventure. Ted brings a wealth of knowledge about aquariums, helping us expand into freshwater and saltwater fish along with essential pet supplies. Krista helps oversee the store during the week while I’m teaching, and she has an incredible talent for organizing merchandise and hunting down great deals—something we both love! Colton is an invaluable part of our team, helping wherever he’s needed and learning about all our aquatics whenever he is not in school.

Our son, Hunter, is also an integral part of Beyond Bargains PVF. He’s always at the store, assembling products, assisting customers, and keeping things running smoothly. In addition to his role in the store, he is also an entrepreneur—running Pomme View Vending, his very own vending machine business offering soda and candy. We couldn’t be prouder of his hard work and dedication!

Beyond Bargains PVF is more than just a flea market—it’s a community hub featuring over 70 vendors, an ever-changing selection of treasures, and our growing aquatics section for fellow fish and pet lovers.
